# engman

> engman keeps the 1:1s, feedback and career plans of the people a tech leader manages, in one place. A connected AI agent reads identifiers and proposes changes; nothing it sends is saved until a person confirms it in the web app.

engman is a web application in English and Spanish. It costs nothing while the current Terms of Service are in force, and asks for no card or payment details.

## Who it is for

Tech leaders who manage people, especially in organizations with two or more layers of managers: CTOs, heads of engineering and engineering managers.
Each manager sees the people in their own branch; the workspace owner sees everyone.

## What an agent can do

- Read the names, work emails, teams, managers, dates and statuses of the people its user can see.
- Propose 1:1s, feedback, career plans and new people. Each proposal waits in its user's confirmation queue until they confirm, correct or discard it.
- Work over MCP or A2A, signed in through OAuth as a user who has a second factor.

## What an agent cannot do

- Save anything until a person confirms it in engman.
- Read what was said in a 1:1, notes, feedback or any other content.
- See anyone its user cannot see.
- Connect when the workspace owner has switched agents off.
